There was also an interesting lecture about the Pyramids and Cairo that we attended at 2pm. There should be some more tomorrow, so we'll see what the topics are for the rest of the trip.
So far, the average age of the people onboard seems to be in the mid-60's and definitely retired. There are a few small children, and every so often we see some 30/40 year olds as well.
So we got all dressed up in our fancy clothes for dinner, then went down and ate about 7pm. We have what is known as 'select' dining, which allows us to eat whenever we like at the dining room from 545-930pm. You can make reservations for dinner, but we usually just show up and get seated almost immediately.
After dinner, we went up to the Sky bar where they were having a Martini Slide - and they let me pour one!
This is what happens when you've met the bar staff before..... :)
Once we headed back to our room, I took this picture of the TV showing our location
We are almost halfway to Alexandria and will be enjoying another sea day tomorrow! Hopefully the weather will be a little better, the captain keeps promising that the sun is coming!
